Rosa's Garage Sale

FAQ

SO MANY QUESTIONS...OK, I GIVE YOU ANSWERS!

Who the heck are you and why are you running this online shop?

Hi I'm Rosa, I'm a real person. I'm 33 years old, 1.75m tall and love vintage clothing. You might have seen me around in a red coat or some fancy dresses. I usually hang out on exhibitions or publishing fairs (behind the booth) where I try to sell off my magazine @thesmartview. I'm mostly working there but I'm super creative and do have many ideas throughout the days, so it was just time to leave them all here for later and why not also earn money with it. I learned how to build up online stores working for several high fashion luxury brands like Dolce&Gabbana and Vivian Westwood. And I'm tech savvy, so building just another online store was an easy task. I also do help other artists to build up their own store. If you're interested in how to sell your art online, check out my workshop page.

The products you sell are real products?

Yes they are. I do wear some of the t-shirts on my own. They seem a bit unreal because I use mockups (a virtual product simulation) as images to save the cost of product image creation. Imagine having to hire a product photographer will rip you off. So I stick with my virtual product images. They are good enough. You can find more details about every product in the product descriptions.

Where are these products produced?

All the product you currently see on my shop are print on demand products a part from my knitted socks that might pop up from time to time. These are unique and you can get only one copy. I produce all other print on demand with my POD partner Printful. Every time you order something on my shop, your order will be communicated to Printful and they will kick off production right away. Means I don't have to invest into production costs upfront and I can profit from their low shipping rates which makes having an online store less a hustle. They have 4 different fulfillment locations and choose the location closest to my customer (you) to produce and deliver the item. So for example you come from France and order a t-shirt. It will be fulfilled in Spain which would be the fulfillment center closest to you...right around the corner.

What do you charge for shipping and do you ship worldwide?

All prices on my shop include shipping costs. I calculate a flat-rate into the sales price of all items, so you don't get charged too much if you order more than one item from my store. I offer worldwide shipping as Printful enables me to fulfill and produce all around the world. Isn't that awesome?!

Can I do returns on your shop?

I really hope you like my items when they arrive bit sometimes shit can happen, the delivery guy isn't attentive and looses the package or Printful slept while printing your shirt and the print is on the back instead of the front. In this case you can send me a complaint, please still be nice to be, to [email protected]. I will then manage with Printful and they will investigate if they either had an problem in fulfillment or with the delivery. If the problem is confirmed, your items will be printed and resent to you. But please make sure you always place your order with the correct shipping address. I can't do returns for typos!

Do you have an Instagram page?

Yes I do. i just started out a new one specifically for this shop, so I would love you to follow @rosas.garagesale.

Are your products sustainable?

Kind of. I think with my sustainability I'm already on a good way deciding to do print--on-demand production. No waste is produced, if you not decide to through one of my prints into the trash bin. My wood frames are produced from forest-friendly production and I do have some product on my shop that are labeled with eco.

What are your payment methods?

You can pay with PayPal and Stripe. That should be enough!

Do I get notified when my order gets shipped?

Yes, you'll get a notification from my Bigcartel shop including the tracking number of your order.
